Halloween Costumes Maybe You Should Think Twice About

October 21st, 2007

Paris in JailI love Best Week Ever and when I get a chance to read their online blog, I do.  One of their latest lists includes the “Top 10 topical Halloween costumes everyone will be wearing, even though we wish they wouldn’t“.  Sound funny? That’s because it is.  Trying to call everyone out on the most cliche costumes of the season even before they wear them is genius!

Some of the ideas are pretty tired even though they haven’t been attempted yet, so I’m glad they called those out.  But I actually considered going as Larry Craig or one of the “My D*ck in a Box” guys from the SNL skit, so why did they have to ruin my fun?

My favorite description goes to the ‘Paris in Jail’ costume idea:

7. Paris In Jail - “OMG, you guys! What if we wear blonde wigs and dress up like Slutty Convicts, and carry around jail bars made of cardboard and say ‘That’s Hot’ all night! Won’t that be so funny and original!?!” No, it will not.

The great thing to come out of this is that it will force some people to think more creatively for their Halloween costume this year.  Or maybe not.
